THE BLOOD OF CHRIST.
The eleven places where Christ lost His blood for our life.
Isa 53:5 But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for out iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him: and with his stripes we are healed.
One: The Giving of Blood at Birth
1. Lev 12:1-4 In the birthing process he lost blood when the placenta was cut and he was separated from his mother. In the blood of her purifying v. 4
2. Gen 3:16 Sorrow and pain in the birthing process.
3. This represents the blood covering our sins as being born into sin.
4. This shows the blood covering us to be born again into a new creation.
Two: The Giving of Blood at circumcism
1. Lev 12:1-4 Unclean because of blood loss. Circumcised on eighth day..
2. Gen 17:9-14 This is the establishing of the Abrahamic covenant.
3. Jer 4:4 Spiritual application of circumcism of our hearts. Christ paid the price so we could have our hearts changed and come into covenant with God.
4. Col 2:11 Putting off the flesh by the circumcism of Christ. This is the circumcism of the heart.
5. Lk 2:21 Christ was circumcised on the eighth day. He was not called by name until he come into covenant with the shedding of blood and circumcism.
This represents the blood of covenant. The blood was a cutting of the flesh in obedience
To Gods holy ways. The flesh was cut off so that the Seed of Life would come forth without being touched by mans flesh. The Seed of life is made pure.
Three: The Giving of blood as sweat
1. Lk 22:44 His sweat became as great drops of blood. This shows His blood covers all stress and pressures that the enemy can throw at us.
2. Eze 44:18 Defiled by sweat in Gods presence. We are cleansed by Christ..
3. Gen 3:19 Covers the Curse of sweat of our brow. The working by the sweat of our brow curse has been broken by Christ.
4. I see this representing stress and turmoil of the world. This stress is now covered by the blood of Christ.
Four: The Giving of Blood from the Beard
1. Isa 50:6 I gave my cheeks to them that plucked off the hair.

Five: The Giving of Blood from the Head by thorns.
1. Eph 6:17 Helmet of Salvation
2. Mt 27:29 Platted a crown of thorns they put it on his head.
3. Mt 27:30 Smote Him on Head. This covers our head because He has took our place and we are dead in His death.

Nine: Giving of Blood by His pierced side
